Once M$ internet division is split into a different company, we could take it by force and skill and reprogram that piece of shiat Iexploder! Just my $.01 Company stock went down today.

What will happen likely is that M$ will be split into 4 or 5 distinct companies. Bill will take the helm at one. Very likely it will be the desktop Productivity products ( office, word, etc..) Having spoken with someone who who worked at M$ for a time during the inquiry, it appears as though M$ already has a strategic plan for a split in the company. A split is also very high on the list of thinks the DoJ would like to do to M$. I havent met a single person who loves Bill Gates. I think his mother must use FreeBSD. LW

Blame Sony and Disney. I hate to say it, but two of my favorite companies are likely to have more to do with this fiasco than any single entertainment medium. Not sure of you all remember the whole copyright fiasco tht went on before the dvd digital video disk / digital versatile disk or whatever. Both Sony and Disney made a big stink about the standard 1. Because Sony could not claim the technology standard. 2. Because even early on Both companies saw what was going on in the cd-rom market with the first consumer level cd burners and were worried about being able to prevent copyright infringments. In truth they have been doing these things for years.. from the protection they put on vhs tapes to prevent them from copying properly to digital music (mp3). Because of the concern over copyright infringment, the DVD standard almost became the cdrom2 standard. Thats all I have to say about that. Free the software! Last Warrior

Keep in mind that many of the women who date online do so for a reason.. because they are damaged goods and have things to hide that are too apparent in public. Psychosies abound the online dating arena. I have given up on dating online and irc altogether in the hopes that Ill be able to spot the psychosis before it affects my sleep and my wallet. In order to have answers to the future you have to look to the past. look how other companies came in as the underdogs and overtook seemingly untouchable competitors. back in the early 80'sthere was a company called Adlib. They were a sound card maker for those of who dont have this much history. competing with this company seemed impossible and Adlib owned the entire market for years. even the small company Creative labs could nto compete with with adlib because of the power of thier market. A few revisions into the game, creatvie labs still could notcompete with thier game blaster.. compatibility didnt exist between the cards and it was difficult to find any softare that supported these competitors cards. then came the soiundblaster. the original soundblaster 100+% compatible with eh adlib card, sold for half the price and had features that adlib would not have for another 3 years.. the first card to actually play digital audio rather than the FM synthesized music. Ad lib was set in its ways and was sure the little soundblaster could not overtake it. 3 years later, Adlib cards were few and far between. you might even be hardpressed nowadays to find someone who remembers them.. much less having had used one. In the last 5 years, the internet has become more and more Browser centric. As newbies and marketing execs get a hold of the infinite selling machine that is the internet (unfortunately), those of us who grew up with the true underlying power of the internet are left standing with our dicks in our hands. in order for Linux to win this war against M$, they must not only win the technological war, but also the sociological one. The perceptions about the technology that drive people in one direction or another will determine the outcome of this war. M$'s strategy for gaining control of the market in any market is obvious. They have the trust and backing of the population behind them. They have been raised on the premise that Microsoft Standards are superior to others and those who dont follow are signalling thier own demise. In order to change people minds and raise the level of collective intelligence, there must be a greater level of support from the community and the media. People need to see everyday when they turn on thier televisions how easy windows is made to crash. How unsecure. Each and every windows user has to feel the pain when thier machine crashes because a script kiddy living down the street wants to have a little fun at thier expense. At this point, there is really only one solution and it is not winning at Microsofts game. Security is the key and alot ofpublic awareness. this coupled with a constant pounding of reality in those thick skulls of the desciples of Bill. Some people dont know better.. so its time to educate them.. by force if necessary.. LW
