Let me subscribe to services such as Pandora and let the make money on advertising that I can ignore. I do not want to pay a fee for something that I don't use.
I have always thought that the radio model of having a station pay to play a song is backward. The music publisher should be paying the radio station. Most bands would never have been heard of and could not sell music without airplay. One exception was the Grateful Dead. They were successful due to work of mouth.
