This is good news for Linux and OS X. Installing Drivers is so 1998.
In fact, surprising though it may be to you, getting drivers to work is often one of the biggest difficulties of installing Linux. The only thing that surprises me is how ugly you are, Bill Gates is even better looking!
Anyone can see it. If EMI is preparing to offer DRM free downloads, and everyone but the other majors want to do away with it, it's only a matter of time before it's eliminated.
It'd be great if EMI released DRM-free music, but I'll believe it when I can download it.
Let us not forget that in a recent article, we learned that DRM can add value to Music and other Media, by allowing you to only play media on your Windows-Vista-enable-Dell. Thus, don't simply write off DRM! You don't really think that Consumers want to be trusted?
This is a very, very bad idea. If you buy a Dell with Linux pre-installed you won't have Windows Vista Premium Home edition pre-installed and then Bill Gates wouldn't get any more money!
The iPhone is a joke until it runs Windows Vista Mobile Premium, with Aero enabled holographic projector with 3D holo-conferencing. I'll hold out for the dellPhone.
Obviously the internet doesnt manage your rights either, or you wouldnt be allowed on it.
Dear Anonymous,
Hopefully in the near-to-not-near-future, either Microsoft or Google will own the internet and this will no longer be a problem. I will be allowed on the internet as long as I verify I'm running genuine Windows Vista Home Premium on my Dell PC custom built by Michael Dell.
I don't like YouTube because it doesn't Digitally Manage My Rights. I'd prefer YouTube if I had to do some sort of verification before watching every movie. This verification would ensure that I am using my Dell PC Solution running Windows Vista. Hopefully Microsoft will buy YouTube so that you'll only be able to access it using Internet Explorer 7/Windows Vista.
I disagree with Bill Gates, as he wants to be rid of DRM, and recommends buying CDs. Now maybe I'll be a Fred Amoroso fan. As he seems to be more manipulative and greedy than Bill, maybe Bill has gone soft. I don't know. I like my Music and other Media formats DRM-Laden so that I can only use them on my Dell Running Windows Vista. Vista is the operating system of the future people, can't you realize that? DRM today, DRM tomorrow, DRM Forever! Michael Dell is cool too, especially when they started coming out with ink cartidges for their printers that only work with dell printers. I don't like being able to go to any computer store and buy standard ink cartidges. I prefer to give all of my money to Dell, so that Michael Dell will have enough money to buy Bill Gates.

Please only use Microsoft Certified Drivers. If your system doesn't have Microsoft Certified Drivers available, you should have gotten a Dell!

Windows Vista: One look and you'll know its time!

I would purchase one of these if it came with Windows Vista pre-installed. Otherwise I'll stick with my dell home computer solution.
I probably wouldn't use it unless Microsoft came out with the same service. Then I'd use Microsoft's version.
