    Strange, i installed Windows Srv 2008 as a virtual machine on my pc(VmWare) and it works really good. I added Aero and all that s.it and still it's ok. Virtual machine has 1 GB ram and cpu is Athlon Xp 3200.

    To be honset i can live with big memory consumtion, but i cannot agree on cpu usage. Quick test - go to [mmorpg.com] site (widely known website), then check cpu usage (im sitting on win xp). I get almost constantly 50% usage by firefox.exe process

    Is Dvorak the guy who said win2k is horrbile cause it almost always takes 1005 of cpu. He thought about idle process back then.

    I have similar thougths as you. I tend to leave open browsers for days. I use 1.5.1, and leaving it for a night is a disaster, memory leaks + 90% cpu usage. I believe its beacuse this shit called flash , anyway IE7 doesnt have this problem (altough ms droped ball on this, its still shitty browser)
