I agree with this. I don't think that there products are terrible, just not what I like. I gave away my iPod as I didn't like how it work. I also spent the extra money for the 8gig when it was still the big one. Everyone has what they like, and you will stick with that name brand. On /. everyone wants to call you a shill for what you like, but I respect others opinions on which you choose. I will get a windows version of something sometime. And am waiting for all the hate I get for liking MS. :)

I think you have something, but the fact is a lot of people use these on the bus. I used the bus for a while, and while you see kindles, phones, tablets are also there. And 10" on the bus is to big. For couch, I can see it. But my thought, is why not get one that does more? As more companies come out with tablet/laptop/dock at home/Hook to TV models, a tablet alone won't work. I guess they have all those peripherals all ready though? I really don't know as I personalty don't like apple, but understand those who do.

I believe it is set to a 45 second timer to switch action. Even if it is back and forth from talking, wide screen, his face, her face. Adds do this to. For people who don't have TV, it is a very interesting note. I haven't had cable in a long time, and miss out on all those great adds and tv shows. I forget why they did it, but it is to someones pocket book advantage. I couldn't find a reference either.

This has lead to the issues we have today more than anything else. They keep saying don't let your young children watch tv, yet parents put them in front of it more and more.

I am not saying that I would encourage such behavior. But once a problem is found, I'd prefer to be notified about it (and I want the companies in question to be notified about it). There has to be a mechanism to allow this.

I think this stands out to me most. I have to agree that yeah, you are being dishonest for doing it. But telling someone should be ok. IF however, when your admin does his check finds you did steal the kitchen sink, it isn't as ok. I will say however, he only REALLY did that with epic, and only when drunk. He only talked to MSFT when they found him. There is a lot of things he did like leak specs would be doing what is wrong. So sadly, he did enough to deserve some of this. The degree is debatable IMHO.

We are not talking about old works, we are talking new works. I fail to see how it is hard to "export to pdf". That is cheap, easy, prints well, and only uses adobe software. I think you can get ones that export word, excel, probably open office too. It is cheap enough for me as an individual who doesn't do it for his job to own a legal copy. Just because the companies made a giant DRM machine that is hard to use isn't our fault.
