Your 1st question about bribing scientists: If you look at the study grant criteria, they specifically state that the successful candidate awarded the grant will prove "How global warming is affecting x, y, z." Not that it exists, but how it affects those things. The conclusion/findings are written for you. You just come up with data to state this foregone conclusion. Some of these grants are hundreds of thousands of dollars in value. But I am sure you will say scientists are not affected by money and power either.
If conclusions or findings were to say anything questioning global warming the grant would not be awarded.
