Increased power consumption has nothing to do with phones spending "an lot of battery power trying to hunt down a signal". 4M (both LTE and WiMAX) uses OFDMA as opposed to 3G which relies on CDMA. One of the consequences is that the baseband receiver needs to process much wider range of frequencies, which leads to increased power consumption.
To me, 8 year sentence for killing a man in a combat situation is not even justice, but actually overreaction to media hysteria. At any rate I'm not going to discuss the details of the trial - they are not important.
And my point is still valid - this is a crime committed by an individual, not a state as you claimed. So you are still a liar.
Judging by the length of your response you obviously have more time than I do. Forgive me for not reading through all of this. I will take just one of the so called "facts" that you write about, show that it is in reality a lie which for every sane person should further discredit everything that you write. Tom Hurndall was killed by a soldier, which was later trialled by Israeli military courted and sentenced to 8 years in prison. Fair trial and not "murder" [sic] is what Israel does. And you are a liar.
So if he says "shall" instead of "should" will this be an evidence enough fro you, or does he actually have to bomb Israel in order for you to believe?
P.S. I am an Israeli and I'm not willing to wait for a evidence in a form of a bomb falling on my head.
What you fail to understand is that the problem with Apple approach is not evident in their current wave of products. It is not there yet. We will face this problem (stagnation, high prices, etc) when and if most of the devices will be like these.
I did not read the article, but I love it how the original poster never mentioned casualties among the soldiers. It seems that their lives is simply not part of the equation for him. Are they dispensable ?
Patent quality not always matters, sheer numbers often are more important. As patents for certain technologies are counted in thousands, do you really think somebody can actually evaluate all these patents? Have you tried to read a patent and figure out what it is about? Patents are written in such way that it takes a lot of time to analyze. This is way in the end what counts is the number of patents, not the quality - nobody can evaluate the quality of say 10K patents.
Maybe it has something to do with the fact that modern science is usually done by a group of scientists rather than people working alone. I guess that older scientists are more likely to hold an administrative position allowing them to have a team, lab or a bunch of grad students working for them.
What purpose does Iran's support for Hizballah serves, except for the destruction of Israel that poses no threat to Iran whatsoever? That's the difference.
Iran is financing and supporting Hizballah as we speak and has been doing so for many years. And this is only one example. Does this under your question?
It is not acceptable (and this should be obvious for any person with any sort of self-preservation traits) for your (mentally unstable) enemy to posses a weapon that can destroy you.
Are you really sure that the US system is worse than Greek ? Will you emigrate to Greece ? Have you been there recently or read any news about what happens in that country ?
The calculation is probably correct assuming the whole city needs to be covered by small (femto/pico) cells, which is of course something that small cell vendor would like very much. In reality, many areas with relatively low population/phone density can probably be covered by a macro network and high density areas - shopping malls, apartment buildings, university campuses will need to be covered by femto or pico cells.
Sounds like a rant from many laid off employees. Not to mention that iPhone battery life is actually pretty well, so if we continue their line of thought that Apple got it right, well... looks like RIM got it right too.

Trolling...boring...

If by "can't behave" you mean "suck it and commit suicide" than sorry, we can't.
P.S. Cut the crap about the "concentration camp". This has nothing to do with reality and you know it.
And yet many would kill to join this "oppressed minority". I wonder why.

I love it how people not intelligent enough to know any history call everybody and their mother a retard.

The next reason to upgrade is gonna be the Ultrabook, at list if you ask Intel.

Whatever major handset manufacturer will refuse to do, Huawei, ZTE and other Chinese vendors will do overnight and take over the market.

Hilarious comment, true testimony to the total lack of reasoning abilities.
You just described ("dropped two atomic weapons") HOW US turned Japan into an ally.

Have you even been to Pakistan recently? Or Kashmir? What do you think of muslim suicide bombings in India?
Are you willing to move there and enjoy the fruits of this "peace" you are talking about?
Are you really sure that the US system is worse than Greek ? Will you emigrate to Greece ? Have you been there recently or read any news about what happens in that country ?

This is precisely what (now defunct) Israeli startup Modu tried to develop. They failed, but their patent portfolio was acquired by Google.
The guys is quoted twice on the same slashdot page... do we have slashdot celebrities already ?
This is truly an illustration of a recent joke where each new iPhone feature raises the same reaction - damn, they did not have it before !?
Earthquake and Tsunami Warning System (ETWS) has been available for years...
