The problem I see with the debian version numbers though is that they can get mixed up with the kernel version. Or atlest that happened to me. But I like low version numbers much better than the big ones.
Does anyone know enough about HURD to tell if it is made well for security? It sort of sounds like it would be an interesting alternative if linux didn't work out.
Maybe they can get them to keep a secret legally, but if it gets out, it doesn't really matter what they do to the employee(s) because it would be out... could they stop that then?
I downloaded kdevelop a few weeks ago but I haven't gotten to try it out a lot yet. However, the interface looks pretty neat and maybe you are looking for something visual like that. But I have never used CodeWarrior so I don't really know...
yea, those are sites dedicated to girls or whatever but most of them are made by men and those are like 10 sites. I know that you could find more but why don't you try to count sites made by men and see the difference.
I would think that anyone that has gotten linux on their computer knows atleast how to fdisk it off.. Like what are the chances of you buying a computer with linux on it and you really want windows instead? I guess it shows how paranoid they really are.
they seemed to award higher points for distributions that were easy to install and with free phone tech support. it sort of sucks that they give debian/slackware a 6 of 10. I guess they are focusing on windows/mac users and not linux users?
"do it right, or do it twice"
... thats what my P.E. teacher said.

I find ed a joy to program with.

Easy way to get hung up on by @Home "technical service"... "Hello, I'm running Linux and ..."
its that way with almost every company. no one will "officially" support it

well you could argue that 1-1-3111 could be expressed as 01-01-3111 or that you could express 1-1-2011 as 1-1-11 so we might see another odd day!
