No, Bush implemented the plan Obama was campaigning on.
It is possible that Bush independently came up with his plan on his own, but he announced it well after Obama was campaigning on it.
Obama has control of the troops, he doesn't have to go through congress. He could simply order them out.
Sure, but he'd be violating the agreement with Iraq that Bush signed.
As i recall, he had a timeline of 3 months initially and that kept growing as the campaign progressed.
Bush is the one who actually set the deadline.
If Obama planned this years in advance prior to even being elected, and he tricked the Republicans into going along with it, h'es much smarter than I gave him credit for.
I was talking about subsidising oil and hybrid/electric vehicles.
The hybrid/electric subsidies may be a trifle, but the oil subsidies sure as hell aren't.
The thing really needed is more research, which hopefully will *really* drive down prices.
You mean like the DOE program for battery R&D? Granted it is only a third of a billion per year, but it's not like they're not funding R&D.
Besides, if the DOE does it, the car companies won't have to do as much redundant R&D.
IPhone apps do not have access to email or text messages or the data in any other app except through a very well defined API that requires user confirmation in virtually all instances of data sharing.
It is a one shot laser that fires continuously and keeps firing as long as you press the button. I.E. One shot with a long duration.
A machine gun doesn't fire continuously, it fires repeatedly. I.E. Multiple shots with very short duration.
One shot != multiple shots, no matter what the duration of each shot is.
Don't they ban fully automatic rifles for civilian use in the USA?
Nope. You just need to go through a few more checks than when you're buying a semi-automatic or single shot weapon, and pay a $200 transfer fee. The real barrier to buying a machine gun is the price, which isn't a barrier at all in the case of this pointer.
Besides which, this wouldn't qualify as a machine gun as it's not a firearm. Even if it were classified as a firearm, it would be semi-automatic as it only fires once when you press the button.
It's more akin to a flame thrower than a machine gun, and flame throwers are not federally regulated.
Traded it for a welfare state? Last I checked communist Russia had a manned space program, as does communist China.
More communist countries have put people in space than capitalist countries, and pretty soon ONLY communist (and formerly communist) countries will be able to put people into space.
We're the only ones who can't seem to pay for both the general welfare, and a manned space program.
you're basically saying using SQL on it's own is very wrong, but SQL is not to blame.
SQL isn't to blame, is the script that doesn't use it properly (and the person who wrote it) that are to blame.
If I accidentally shot you, would you blame the gun or the idiot using the gun improperly?
So Obama campaigned on bush's plan?

Your recollection is wrong.
But we're still fucking around in afghanistan.
Obama campaigned on that as well.

More like almost exactly the timeline Obama campaigned on.
Though, if repealed, the oil companies would just pass the additional costs onto the consumers.
Thus increasing the cost effectiveness of hybrids and electrics. It just doesn't make sense to subsidize both.
The thing really needed is more research, which hopefully will *really* drive down prices.

Probably that Dell employees would actually respect customer confidentiality.
Exactly. She's an idiot.
If all you do as a company is enforce IP rights, you are a troll.
I use KDE4, you insensitive clod! There are no icons on my desktop.
If it bothers you, comment it out.

As does Android. Th
So, now you have to use a file manager to administrate your phone?
I've always used Windows Explorer to administer my phone. Why would I stop now?
Since when does clicking a file and pressing delete qualify as "not easily deleted"?
It's way closer to a fully automatic weapon than a semi-auto.
I agree, but that doesn't make it fully automatic.
Heck I could also say it's firing lots of photons repeatedly in that single shot.
A shotgun fires a bunch of individual pellets in a single shot. That doesn't make it fully-automatic.
You can build all the machine guns you want, you just can't transfer ownership.

Seriously, there is no place on Earth as deadly as the surface of the Moon or Mars.
Wait till WW3 happens or an asteroid hits. Then other planets aren't going to look like such a bad place to live. If we stay here, we go extinct.

I love Aussie Ska! The Allniters are one of my favorite bands!

I'd blame the lock, the lock being the script that allows access to the SQL database (which would be the house).
