How do you levy fines against Google (or any company for that matter) for exploiting *in a non-harmful way* Apple's fuck-ups?
If Apple wanted their browser to truly block cookies then there should not be a way around it. It's not like Google was deploying malicious code..
The punishment fits the 'crime' -- if you care to absurdly call it a crime..:thumbsdown: once again to the FTC. ugh
coming from another 25b (formerly a 31U) i couldnt have put it better;
"I've been in some very, very tight spots on the streets of Baghdad, and I can tell you firsthand that the *LAST* thing you will do when you are getting shot at is looking at a Gameboy-sized screen to see where your buddies are. You'll have eyes on them, believe me. You won't let them out of your sight."
.. and yet another good point as to why this system sucks.. leave it to top brass to tell the joe's what to carry in the field as they sit in their air conditioned operations centers hundreds of miles away from the battlefield.
the 'bluefor tracker' (blue-force tracking) system works well when it works. however in a fast paced environment most units in the army don't have time to make it work correctly 100% of the time. this being said i cant see a more advanced system even remotely being useful on the battlefield. from the 15 months i was on the ground in iraq we used blufor tracking maybe 4/5 months for missions. the other 10/11 months it was either not working correctly or wasnt working at all. i can totally relate to having extra and seemingly useless equipment to carry.
i dont think "land warrior" will be any better.

Their commercials make IE9 look cool. They have all my non-tech friends convinced its a great browser... :rollingeyes:
..just another reason to go to Frys. Until they cross the line .

.agrees in full. this sounds like a better way to invade our privacy rather than standardizing identification for americans.
