  1. Re:Finger length can predict ... on Boys with Longer Ring Fingers are Better at Math · · Score: 0

I've seen a study which showed a similar effect for males with high estrogen levels in the womb/long index fingers as those with long ring fingers. The same was not true for females. So males with a ratio closer to 1.00 were worse at math/spatial skills.

Who modded me down for this? I didn't know there was a -1, insensitive option. I presented a sound argument and some chickenshit moderator disagreed with what I said, so they modded me down.

i'm staying alive out of spite, honestly. I don't think it would satisfy your rapist to see you dead, otherwise he would have killed you already, since it could greatly lessen the chance that he would get caught. Also, killing a rape victim defeats the biological purpose of rape, which is reproduction.

So you're saying we should kill rape victims?

Pirated OS + Pirated SW = No guilt way to get even for 400 years of colonization. Didn't the Brits pirate away the crown jewels from India? Add up the Billions stolen from India, China and the rest of the former imperialist colonies and it doesn't amount to a fraction of the money supposedly lost to piracy (what's the price of the Kohinoor diamond compared to a few bits of data ?). Last I checked, MS wasn't British.
  6. *useless* LEDs on A "Bill of Lights" to Restrict LEDs on Gadgets? · · Score: 1

I see a lot of comments here about how "useful LEDs can be, so stop whining", etc. These people seem to be failing to realize that the article is about useless LEDs that have no discernible purpose. Sure I could desolder a decorative light, but I'd rather not have to pay for it in the first place.

Anti-socialism on /.? You must be kidding. There is no conflict. This is a slam dunk. Obviously what's happened here is China has liberated American IP from the evil copyright-mongering corporations. How dare they want to protect their IP! It belongs to all the people!
