There are trucks with 30+ mpg available. Toyota is making Hilux (equivalent to Tacoma in US) with diesel engine whis has over 30 mpg. But I doubt that they will be selling it in the states anytime soon.
You don't even need hydrogen to run fuel cells. Solid oxide fuel cell http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Solid-oxide_fuel_cell can run also on carbon monoxide, methane, and other compounds. Problem is the SOFC operates at hight temperatures (around 900 C).
I don't think that is a good theory because at my school all international phd students don't have to pay out of state tuition and in state tuition is covered by a stipend.
I'm quite sure that mine problems with hibernation are caused by Nvidia drivers supplied bu Ubuntu. Before I enabled them, hibernation and stand-by worked perfectly.
Also can't set up Cisco VPN.
But other then these two issues I feel more comfortable using Ubuntu than Windows

I actually like that taste of Vault Zero. I was upset that I cannot by Pepsi product at my school, but I don't have to be anymore!
