This reminds me of when I was younger and in the National Guard. About three people within a two month span got booted out for pissing hot. A company formation was called, and our Captain got up in front of us and said:
"Pot stays in your system for 30 days, Cocaine for 48 hours, DO THE MATH!"
I don't think he meant it to come out like that. Or maybe he did? I will never know.
The ipod doesn't have any DRM. The songs you buy from iTunes do. Sure, you can't take songs *off* of the iPod using iTunes, but there are free 3rd party programs that do this. Since the copy of the music is on my PC already, I have only done this once when I was moving my files to a new PC. I agree though, I hate iTunes. I'd rather some lightweight open source management tool that would be able to put songs on my iPod. I mostly use iTunes to find podcasts to listen to.
Oh noes! In the June 1st patch for Lord of the Rings online they are allowing you to upload music in ABC format to play on your instruments in game. I was hoping to play some Star Wars theme songs on my Lute while smoking some pipe-weed.
Maybe it is because they are certified by the IRS to be "non-profit". They get this certification just like every other institution that is classified as non-profit. The US does not designate organizations as "Religions". Therefore you would have to get rid of all non-profits to do this.
