The reason for this is obvious, the web desginers don't have the final say in what goes online. It's usually some higher up who only uses the web to check his email and doesn't know anything about modems, networks and bandwidth. At least that's how it is at my company.
Bastille isn't a distribution. It's a hardening system that runs on Redhat/Mandrake systems. It goes through your system and closes extra services, configures a firewall, disables user tools that are suid root and a bunch of other stuff. Everything is optional too for the people that want to leave ping/traceroute available to everyone or just root.
Some people don't run Linux on a network so security isn't a concern for them.
I'm a lot more into new styles of music than i was a couple of years ago, in particular i go to a lot more concerts
Great! That's all we need, now that the RIAA needs to make up money they lost in CD sales, the next concert I go to is gonna cost 45 bucks vs. the usual 20.:)
