I think the 10 year warranty is the bigger deal. Sandisk is starting to offer 10 year warranties too... show me a single HDD with that sort of warranty.
Right, because a business owner immediately loses their protections under the law when they choose to incorporate. Oh gee, I think thats the very thing that the courts ruled does not happen here, because it would be stupid and would force people to choose between running a business and enjoying protection under the law.
The existence of a single coherent body of "approved" doctrine is one of the main differentiators for catholicism.
Claiming "No True Scotsman" whenever someone points out that categories like "Catholic" are exclusive is ridiculous; what on earth do you suppose the term means, if you cannot objectively look in and set t boundary?
The bits of Ginsberg's dissent that were quoted in the majority opinion were appalling.
If the quote is true to the source, Ginsberg appeared to be reasoning "I know the law seems to say one thing, but it really really sucks for the women at hobby lobby so Im gonna dissent". If thats not legislating from the bench, I dont know what is.
The debate is over when life begins, and its a question that cannot and will not be answered by politicians or scientists.
For people (like myself) who believe that life begins at conception, saying that they need to fund abortion or abortifacient drugs is literally telling them to be complicit in the murder of infants. It is literally one of the worst things you could order someone to do.
Trying to compare this to spurious, hypothetical aversions to paying taxes is displaying an astonishing lack of perspective and common sense.
Inside a civilian prison? Thats an interesting theory.
that actually obeys the laws we've made for keeping prisoners.
I think part of the issue is that these prisoners have already broken the rules of war (not targeting civilians, operating under a flag, operating in line with international conventions, wearing a uniform), and in so doing have sacrificed the majority of the protections like Geneva in the process.
Gold doesnt actually have sizeable physical value.
The value of everything is "arbitrary" in that it is simply a function of the worth an individual or society assigns to it. Even something like waterbuffalo has an arbitrary value: some societies would value it highly, but I certainly would be pissed if a waiter gave me my change in waterbuffalo.
Theres really nowhere for Germany's electricity prices to go but down, since theyre about as expensive as anywhere in the world. Using them as an example of what renewables can do for your cost per kWh is perhaps counter-intuitive.
It might have something to do with PV being one of the most expensive forms of energy out there (particularly in a northern european country), as well, and having shut down a lot of their nuclear.
We've had SSDs with ~0.50/GB for a few years now (since at least 2012).
Whats getting better is that that price range is now available for capacities above 240GB, and that they come with a decent warranty.

Thats really not how it happened.

Yes yes, No True Catholic.

You're being absurd.

Its almost like less than 10% of the folks commenting here actually even clicked on the ruling.
But in good old internet style, that doesnt preclude them from commenting and making complete arses of themselves.
Im as protestant as they come, but claiming the Catholic church is an "invented" church is a pretty liberal use of the term.
I stand corrected; I would have thought lead was more malleable.

Where should we stick foreign combatants? You know, the kind that in days of yore we would have termed "POWs".
Pretty sure you could just demand your money, and if they refuse take them to court as you would with anyone who refused to pay you.
Gold is not "the most malleable metal", and it sounds like what you're alluding to is actually ductility
Tin whiskers for the win!

The joke is that people who make trite comments about gitmo dont actually understand who goes to gitmo and why.
Protip: If you arent a foreign combatant you arent going to gitmo.
Theres also the fact that Sweden is less likely to extradite than the UK, but then this was never about reality but about appearances.

Small quibble, you probably mean big-M MWh.
What are those other sources?
Would this be the same Bill Gates whose 1990s book "The Road Ahead" talked about how important the internet would be?
Good thing you posted AC though so noone has to see you stuffing your foot in your mouth.
Its called the Nexus 5, and its been out for 8 months now.
Sunk costs arent free, nor are the panels when you have to replace them in 30 years.
Solar generally has a 0.20 power factor, which AFAIK means that theyll be generating 20% of that at best.
