This is true of any politically charged environment. Ever try to get anything done in a corporation where everyone from the top down is fighting and wrangling for power? Super slow....and something is always left on the table to rot.

Fuck the judicial "branch" and their rewriting of laws. They have no place and no value in our society. Lame ducks.

They are supposed to be independent but they are extremely cognizant of and affected by political circumstances....and because they are "independent"--just like the Federal Reserve--they are very careful about what they get themselves involved in because they do not want the people looking at them or questioning the value of those institutions (which means they lose power).

TLDR; Judicial branch will only make controversial decisions/rulings if it feels they can politically survive them. Useless.

Some of our best and brightest go into space for a few months to return debilitated or essentially injured for life. People have been watching way too many space movies. It isn't going to work out unless you simulate or generate localized gravity. If we pull that off I doubt exploring pace will be our first concern.

Just think, had the orange baboon not been elected we would still have those 40 house members (lifers) that left Washinton in disgust. Good things can happen with a bull in a china shop.

Legal trick? How do you get screwed if you have a contract that states explicitly what you get? If you do not have that contract...don't count on a fucking dime. I saw a deal recently where everyone promised shares was screwed because the company was sold for less than the stated base valuation. Some people had put in money and lost it all. The owners/founders did OK though.

Microsoft bought GitHub so all the "not Microsoft weenies" would allow themselves to use Git in an enterprise. A lot of them will figure out another way to restrict themselves though--due to cognitive dissonance.
