Could it be that our government is releasing information that would make it seem as though Snowden is a traitor to turn public opinion? Just asking for the sake of consideration--I have to consider such scenarios. Then again I have no proof the world is not being run by aliens.
To be fair, Afghanistan is really, really close to Pakistan, where the "bad guy" ended up being located.

I think that we would be stronger without secrets. If everything was held to the light of day and we had to take all of our actions based on a common knowledge of the facts (which the "enemy" knows as well) then our actions would ultimately result in real solutions. You can't expect simpletons and politicians to get this though.

If I was going to spring into action to help save this country I no doubt would end up with our Friends of Freedom in Russia at some point or other. Maybe you haven't noticed, but Russia is sovereign and remains separate from the rest of the basket case--at least in spirit. This tells me that they are not playing along with these psychopaths hellbent on their Utopian one world government where everyone is an equal subject. You know, I'm OK with a one world government if it upholds the principles of freedom and limited government but I get the feeling that is not be the plan. If it were, the puppet masters would come right out and say it. All the issues in Russia over the last few hundred years have been from them refusing to play along with the grand scheme. Despite the generation or two of propaganda focused on Russia I can say, especially after watching them shirk off communism, that they are Friends of Freedom.
True, the Constitution is just a god damned piece of paper but it doesn't remove the fact that Congress, the courts, and the Executive branch have started to completely ignore the spirit of the document while paying homage to it in their oaths and campaign speeches. So what is it? Are we living by the god damned piece of paper or not!? One or the other. Either burn the fucking thing and quit pretending so we can happily go about stoking our crumbling empire or uphold the principle which is freedom and limited government. The pretending is just going to continue to be a source of problems.
I have been attacked numerous times and have narrowly avoided incidents where I could have accidently hurt such bitches and got in tons of shit myself--so I know what you are talking about. Do we attract crazy or just like it? I've witnessed a lot of women flying off the handle and it usually results in some type of violence coupled with a total disregard for anyone else or themselves. It is so bad in Ohio that it is mandatory for both parties to be arrested and held in jail over night when a "domestic violence" call is placed. For a few years it was mandatory for the person with the claim against them be held overnight but I'm sure you can guess how that played out.
Perhaps he should at least deny it. This is all hashing out in the US which probably has no jurisdiction. If he needed to shut up then maybe he should not have blogged anything.
Given that this incident occurred outside the US there is probably no recourse so she feels that people should know about him. Typically the structure of our society prevents rape but women do still need to be aware. He may have been triggered--or tripped over the edge--by his reduced accountability: being in another country.
The fact that you belive her and a majoroty of us do as well is a perfect demonstration of why we have court systems. I'm glad we do. You know, I believe her too, but we do not know what really happened.
I say the matter is settled. He tried to get some, she fucked him up with a coffee mug, he left. Regardless of what went down it is her word against his, she isn't terribly traumatized obviously, and his reputation is ruined. Justice?
So you have a situation in which a guy goes into a woman's room, then gets into a brawl with her. I can't think of many ways that goes down without sexual assault being involved.
