Is the fact Microsoft has no responsibility over who buys this game. Much like the producer of a movie has no responsibility over who watches his movies. It's up to the PARENTS and retailers to enforce the 17 and over rule. I emphasize PARENTS because the ESRB was not made so retailers could babysit ignorant parents kids. That and what is acceptable to some may not be to others. (I have run across a lot of parents who refuse to let their teens plat Teen rated games) It's out of Microsoft's hands once its for sale. The rating is on it, and if retailers let kids buy it, it's certainly not Microsoft's fault.
Oh, and lol @ stopping production of Halo 3. That made me giggle.
