  1. Am I stoopid? on Comcast's New Throttling Plan Uses Trigger Conditions, Not Silent Blocking · · Score: 1

The more I drive my car, the more I pay--gas, service, maintenance, upkeep, etc... The more I use appliances, the more I pay--TVs, heating/cooling, cooking, lighting, etc... The more I use my phone, the more I pay--Minutes, texts, data usage, etc... The more I use water, the more I pay--watering the lawn, showering, peeing, etc... The more I eat, the more I pay...get the picture? Why is bandwidth treated differently? Stupid marketing sets up stupid expectations.

I don't think that releasing the moview with the R rating was wise. I'm all for tasteful or comical nudity, but the "blue dongle" was not contributing to the movie.

In Windows, you have the option to "Automatically move pointer to the default button in a dialog box." With this wonderful option enabled, your pointer will instantly warp from your control to a dialog box as soon as one appears. Why not move the dialog box to the pointer? Locating dialog boxes on multi-monitor systems is bad enough. Don't yank my pointer away and thow it into a sea of 18,432,000 pixels. Don't bring the dock to the dinghy, bring the dinghy to the dock.
