As a personal note - apple's headphones are hard plastic, hard plastic hurts when you shove it in your ear. I also think that Bose hits low notes far better, but maybe an engineer could figure that one out. How so? Of course, by ignoring frequencies, and asking the next ten people he sees on the subway.
