I live like less than half a mile to the stadium where the declaration happened... I even heard the noises! they were keeping me from studying Computer science..:D
Funny to mention that in the end of the show, the man responsible is know preparing the NEW SEVEN WONDERS OF NATURE. (More money to him... )
Saying that computer science doesn't need math, is like saying there's nothing else to be invented... Like maybe the future generations dont really need that Hard and exercising discipline... Well let me tell you (besides the fact that computer science is Taught based on math) you would be asking for math to understand and accomplish knowledge.
After doing my Calculus II, I talked to my professor and asked "Why in hell do we need to know these things?!"..
And he said: "Well, maybe when you get to work you'll probably wont need to know how to integrate a variety and such... But instead think of the levels of problems you can look for now... You opened yourself for a new range of situations.. Also, your brain has evolved since you first began doing Calculus.. You're actually smarter!...".
Taking Math of Computer Science is taking the ability to improve itself, to discover itself and to redefine itself
Actually there is liquid methane and frozen water.. Since the planet's temperature is around 179 C, the water is rock solid and the methane is in liquid state like what water is to us.
Curiously, when the first pictures of Titan's surface appeared, they showed a earth-like surface, with rivers of methane similar to our rivers of water.
Pagerank is the source of all wisdom in google... but there is so much more... Like string searching & matching algos, file searching.. you name it.. Just the other day I was searching for books about Google's algorithms... I found zero interesting stuff.. They keep their algorithms secret and out of the public domain... (like they should..). we praise Pagerank, but if we knew what other stuff is there, we would all be members of Church of Google (http://www.thechurchofgoogle.org/):P

Finally enlightenment!... Shows us the path, gandalf..!

Also... Water vulcanos! how cool is that?
That's just awesome.. I never read that anywhere
that is cleverly simple actually!
well explained
Thank you!
I think this could help me record all my classes.. Although I'm afraid it will record all classes in a 5 mile radius..
Maybe now people can hear their neighbors having sex..
BTW: High definition sound?
