Ooh, interesting. I think you struck upon a fundamental problem with today's young -- and possibly marketing.

If something isn't overly flashy or deafeningly loud, most young people (and, admittedly, quite a few older people) automatically label it "boring," "stupid," etc.

I like the way you put it -- prodding the brain. Now that TV & all kinds of advertising are vieing constantly for attention, "consumers" have come to expect everything trying to gain that attention; therefore if it doesn't immediately grab said attention, it's perceived as not being any good.

Thanks for spawning the life of a new thought in my head.

Of course, if by "paranormal," you mean "things that connot be explained by our current understanding of science & nature," then yes, you may be correct. There may well exist ghosts, even undead, or vampires, but if they do, there is probably an explanation for it -- we just don't know what that explanation is.

In some sense, that is absolutely correct. We don't know how atoms REALLY work. What's a proton made of? What's a quark made of? We can see the effect of photons, but on an individual basis, they can't be observed, as observation requires (I know there are other methods, but extrapolate a bit) light: how is light supposed to bounce off of 1 particle of light?

While I may disagree with your theme, I can't argue much of it, as I don't have "God's viewpoint." One problem, however, arises with this statement you made. Humans are not "inarguably inifinitely more complex." I can argue the point that humans aren't infinitely anything.

Perhaps you chose the wrong words?

We believe we know how almost all parts of the human body work, just as we believe we know how a computer works, but at the very, VERY basic level, computers still hold some mystery, especially in the workings of electricity. We THINK that it's electrons jumping from atom to atom (correct me if I'm wrong, I'm not an electrical engineer), but is there any way to directly observe this?

The only part of a human that is inconceivably complex is the nervous system, and we are getting closer to understanding that every year. Well, if you believe in the existence of a soul as a separate entity from the body in which it resides, then that is inconceivably complex as well.

Just by arguing this point, I have proven my statement that it is "inarguable."
