  1. Apple Airport Express on Simple, Cost-Effective, Multiroom Audio? · · Score: 0

honestly, that's probably the simplest solution. add an airport express for each room you want and you have an instant wireless music network. add an iPod touch or an iPhone and you have a really excellent remote that lets you easily switch the music from one room to the next and multiples at the same time with no delay, as well as creating custom playlists on the fly and using itunes DJ and genius playlists. plus it can join your home wifi network and share printers, charge USB devices, or even extend your wifi network. to me, this is probably the most under-hyped apple product ever. it's made my life so much easier. i only have one, but i can just unplug it and move it to another room and have it hooked up somewhere else in seconds, and the remote app on the iPhone is worlds better than any other audio remote i've used.

  2. Re:Free speech and democracy? on Flickr Yanks Image of Obama As Joker · · Score: 0

I just did what you said, and searched for "george w bush". There are a few negative pictures to be sure, but the vast majority are just normal pictures of the guy and NONE come even CLOSE to the vial imagery in the Obama Joker picture. I didn't bother going through all the pages, just the first 6, but I somehow doubt you did either.

  3. stupid idea on RadioShack To Rebrand As "The Shack"? · · Score: 0

radioshack, listen up. I don't visit your store very often, maybe once a year or less. max. i think a lot of people are the same way. also, i move probably every couple of years. so, when i need something small and simple (come to think of it, i need a cheap rca to stereo 1/8" adapter right now) I look on my maps app on my iphone for the nearest RADIOSHACK. if there isn't one, I go to best buy and spend way more money than i should have. I will not remember to search for "The Shack", and no one else will either, especially those who don't hear about the news on sites like this. Lastly, if you are counting on customers driving by and saying "hey look! it's like radioshack but it's a different name. lets go check it out!" i think you're sadly mistaken. I believe a lot of people think like me, in that they do not think favorably of rip-off chains who try to associate themselves with better-known chains and this is exactly what I would think if I saw "The Shack" on the side of the road. I'd think it was some worthless ripoff of a once popular chain. save your money on branding, and just clean your stores up and focus on hiring people who know what the hell it is you sell.

right. nothing says beautiful landscape better than a big huge nuclear reactors in the distance. say, why don't you nominate your back yard for a nuclear waste dump next time some country is looking to offload a few tons? of course, there wouldn't be any need to dump tons of nuclear waste if we got our power from solar and wind.... but why sweat the details? GO NUCLEAR!

  5. misleading on MacBook Air First To Be Compromised In Hacking Contest · · Score: -1, Flamebait

you know, these articles are extremely misleading. this, and others all over the web which are just like it, gives the immediate impression that all systems were being hacked at the same time and the Mac was the first to fall. most people don't bother reading the article so they won't see the fine print, which is that the Mac was the first to fall because it was the first to be tested!! in a similar outcome, my shower this morning apparently took less time than brushing my teeth, simply because i showered first. LAME.
