That's what (s)he is saying. Dangerous Dave in Copyright Infringement was a PC clone of Super Mario Bros (3, I think). After Nintendo rejected their offer to port it to PC they made Commander Keen.
I believe WM_INPUT is only recommended for keyboard input and in my experience is a perfectly good option.
As far as I can tell, Microsoft isn't too interested in supporting 3rd party gamepads. Everything seems centered around mouse/keyboard or Xbox 360 controller. You can still easily use DirectInput, it's just not what MS recommends.
You've locked your terminology down to the point that there's no 3rd option. I agree with that. I don't agree with your terminolgy.
Atheism is not the lack of a belief in god, it's the belief in the lack of god.
"It's quite meaningless to go around modifying every single decision and concept with "MAYBE..."
I absolutely agree with this. Unfortunately it's such a prevalent debate that someone created a term for just this issue. That doesn't make the term invalid.
That's missing the entire point. They want linux to support more hardware so that becomes less of an issue.
Clearly if someone buys a card with the intention of using it under linux then they are stupid for not making sure it's compatible but it would be still be easier/better if there were more options.
Do warnings still show up on your record? If so, wouldn't that possibly influence you getting tickets?
What if you left out the part about the hair and just said "The first two times I got pulled over I got a warning. Now I get tickets." Doesn't sound so weird.

It implies you don't believe one way or another. It implies you accept the possibility of, yes, but it doesn't imply belief.

Right, and the sample with the lower max-volume will have a larger dynamic range than the sample with the higher max-volume. It made sense.
