Well pain killers are all good and well, but they just relieve the symptoms, and not the actual problem - posture would be the problem in question I imagine. I didn't start training in wushu to stop back pain, but we do a lot of posture related kicks and stretches, and it's improved immensely since then. Good for all-round exercise (cheaper than a gym, and a hell of a lot more fun), tones muscle, builds tendon strength in and around the joints, gets you fit and can be started by pretty much any fitness level.
Hrmm seems like i've fallen into that trap, my opinion of it being wrong affected my thinking. I guess it is legal, and I guess the only thing I can do is protest it. 8) But the point of aiding and abetting a criminal is an interesting one to think about too - could ISONews be taken to court for that?
Hehe a very similar thought to mine. It *is* wrong as far as I'm concerned, and it's nice to see a few people that agree. Even if people too cowardly to reveal their names call it trolling.
Question: is it really a case of "free speech"? I mean it's all good and well to talk about people's rights etc, but honestly everyone knows this sort of thing is purely directed to game piracy. I'm really curious about this - how many people think that the piracy of games under the banner of "backups" is actually "right"? Yes sure ISONews is just that - a news site, and I'm not going to argue semantics on whether or not sega is being heavy handed, other than proposing this: if you coded games for a living, to sell, and yes increase the value of your business, would you like people to post them where people could download them?
Warez fascinates me I guess, because people that wouldn't steal anything material - ie wouldn't walk into a shop and steal one of these games, feel totally justified in downloading them.
I don't want to start a fight, I'd just really like to see some other opinions on this. Is it ethical?
ummm then get a nic with good drivers?! in win2k / nt4 all I have to do is select my driver (from a handy floppy) then choose ip etc etc. simple.
I've found that nt/2k administration is pretty easy not just because of gui (as some tweaking is handled by registry editting) but also due to the fact that it's a centralised gui, ie everything is in the one place, or has a standardised approach.
What should be looked at here is not whether the test was rigged, I seem to recall Mindcraft being vindicated a while back for that.... the real issue is that even if Linux does do as well, there's always room for improvement 8)
Instead of griping, just get to work and make it better than it was, that way nothing is harmed, but a lot is gained.
