A german police chief was asked on TV the day of the London bombings what extra measures should be taken.
He said: "None. The measures are effective as they can be; we cannot avoid all terrorist attacks just as we cannot avoid all crime." I was impressed, He was a really intelligent man.
A shame nobody bothered to inform the manufacturers and proponents of this system about this particular wisdom.
In Sweden the cheapest computer to buy is usually (I dont know if it's possible in the USA) the "non-assembled" (not sure about english spelling) computer, the price will be ~$100 lower, but you'll have to put it togheter and install everything yourself, wich can be a somewhat excruciating procedure in many cases.
So the part about it being a PITA to install Windows is not necessarily a lie.
I wasn't talking about some cutesy family photo on the beach.
I've had the bad luck to seen some of these films and pics myself, in one video that can be downloaded from TPB you have two preteen girls undress, smear themselves with whipcream and then spread their legs infront of a camera while giggling with some cheesy popmusic played in the background.
Thats the problem being discussed and that's Childporn and nothing else.
I didnt even touch the subject of the "fully clothed kids". (childmodels ages 5-12 dressed in string bikinis)
But I do find them despicable.
The Pirate Bay have for a long time provided access to active torrentfiles containing real child porn - nude underaged (sometimes younger than 10 years) girls dancing and posing for the camera.
Dont try to make this debate into something it's not about.
This is a legitimate action to be fair. I have followed the posting of this material on TPB for a long time, despite many complaints the administrators have done nothing. The files have been easily accsseible for anyone and have not been hidden away. Now the police is treating the site like any other site doing the same thing, and suddenly they are throwing a hissy-fit, just because they are The Pirate Bay dosent exempt them from this. About time they do something about it. (Sorry for my Swenglish.)

I bet they're scared now!
