    Nuclear facilities carry this disadvantage among others (in case of malicious intent): single point of failure. You cannot disable the whole network of wind and solar generators at once without crippling the surrounding infrastructure (or releasing Stuxnet 2.0).

    THey were imprecise, yes. They observed IR, of course but, to the point, what kind and how much of hard radiation would you expect from a device with supposed output of ~ 2kW (if I didn't bungle the zeroes)?

    No, these are: 1. it raises prices, 2. generates NO improvement (on the contrary, 3. it is designed to push crap to consumers) and 4. wastes resources which could be used in R&D.

    Retrieving a memory strengthens it, and encoding a memory in brain is lossy or non-lossy only based on what you consider the information being stored

    One might add, most of the brain is actually a filter and much of the information gets lost before it gets integrated into memory or even into associative pathways.

    Apples and oranges. In brain you have interference due to asynchronous activity. The heart works synchronously and therefore produces strong uniform EM field.
