At the first flight of Spaceship 1 and the White Knight there was a poster being waved by someone in the crowd. During the pilot's 'victory lap' in front of the crowd he took and waved it around himself. "Spaceship 1, Government 0", meaning that there was no government involvement in the initial flight. They seemed quite proud of that.
Now, I haven't looked closely to see if they took government money this time, but this is/., why should I do the research?
As a former Amazon.com(tm) warehouse employee & a software engineer in several completely separate companies, I'll get a positive sense out of Erlang's effectiveness when they switch their in-house warehouse receive/ship tools to it from perl.
I also find it somewhat odd that Shakira is held up as a model for good vibrato. She has a bleating vibrato which varies not only in pitch but in dynamic as well, which in another singer would be considered a serious technical deficiency.
"I dunno...the younger age group there, really does not understand or comprehend how their actions being published on the net can have LONG term consequences. It wasn't that long ago I was in that mode of mind, and when you are in the bulletproof years, you needn't worry about anything."
Don't you know it's going on your Permanent Record!
Point of clarification.
Paper ballots aren't actually analog (well neither are mechanical wristwatches but that's another pedantic comment). They would more properly be termed discrete.
But I agree that they are superior to any other current technology. But it's because of their durability and the fact that they rely on no other technology but human eyesight (and thank Ghu for the glasses I wear).
That reliance is also their downfall, for as Boss Tweed says (at least in 'The Gangs of New York') "It doesn't matter who votes. It matters who counts them."

Yes, but most of us would like to know whether we're intercoursing penguins or say, geese. It'd make a difference to me anyway.
But this shows a better image.
Ob. dogfood.

Oh yes, much worse than say, Stevie Nicks.
Government still zero.

No, no... it was Allied (RS's owner and the one with the cool catalog) that had the positive vibe. It was always "Radio Shlock".

Da Ahrnold's face is back up at the DMV. Nothing happening here.
