I can go to the mall and buy a no-contract cell-phone for 99$ and go home throw it in a bucket fill the bucket with cement and throw the bucket in the river.
Once I pay for it it is mine.
If I lease it (penny cell-phone deals) the phone does not belong to me. they can call me on their phone and say "hey bub.. bring our phone back!!".
So when I go into a resturaunt and get food and pay with my CC and sign the slip that is a valid transaction, if I try to dispute it they say "look you signed it, now pay up!"
If I order from amazon.com and they send my books by fedex/ups and I sign for them, that signature proves that I accepted merchandise. Unless I return that merchandise, I am bound by 'Good Faith' to follow through with payment.
If I order from amazon.com and they send my books by the USPS and I don't sign for them... they can't prove that I recieved anything, so if I were to 'theoretically' dispute a charge by them... well that one click thing probably broke:)
My wife like that movie very much even if she's neutral abou science-fiction.
My wife thinks Sci-Fi is "uninteresting" except for Stargate and Stargate SG1, oh umm and sometimes SeaQuest (She thought Darwin the Dolphin was cute.. and whoever that spotted guy was)
She also likes the usual Mainstream stuff like ID4, MIB, Alien(s)
What suprised me is she want's to see this, so we are going sometime this week. I hope it's good, Robin Williams bothers me.

It's hard to stomach sometimes, but for real freedom you have to let whoever say whatever they want whenever. any limits are just that, limits.
