Is this all a joke? All of this stuff about taking too much wind? I don't get it. This better be a joke or there are a lot more retarded people on/. than I ever imagined.
Do you have any idea what you are talking about? If hardware companies actually developed drivers for Linux there would be no problem.
Or they could open the source of the windows drivers and save Linux developers a lot of hassle in getting the hardware to work.
I do not understand at all how anything ceoyoyo says on this topic is Insightful.
I have no idea why that comment is moderated Insightful. There is absolutely no insight when the person is just ranting on something they don't really seem to understand.
Oh and yeah... end users are generally the problem but Windows makes it so easy for them.
In 2006, out of 730 casualties in lethal accidents, 75 were drugsrelated (also cocaine, speed etc. but that doesnt impact driving as much as marihuana).
What the? 75 drugs related... how many were actually Cannabis related?
I still have problems transferring files to and from Vista over a network. Takes hours for a 1GB folder sometimes. Do the same to and from my XP or Linux machines, I have no problem at all.
That and the horrible "Network and Sharing Center" are my only real complaints these days.
It is stable now but I wouldn't say it is more or less stable than XP.
I don't understand why there is any need to move away from XP. The only problem is Microsoft stopping their support for it.
Is there something new in Vista or 7 that is going to benefit me?
Why do so many people refer to ME as a serious product? They only released it to force companies away from the old 98 platform that didn't want to leave it.
It was designed to suck.
I play some games using Wine and they run fairly well with only a few problems. Any games that I can't run smoothly with wine I will play in Windows.
It's really sucks having to boot into Windows when I want to play a particular game but it's the only choice I have.
I can't stand using Windows on my home computer for too long. Don't exactly know why, I think I am just really used to all my programs in Linux and it looks pretty.
Then you are most likely after something obscure and are computer literate.
I don't see many people coming across a piece of software that would be useful to them that isn't in the repositories.
If they do they are probably more technically minded and obviously have spent the time to find that particular program so would be happy to find out how they can go about installing it.
There may be a difference in quality but who really cares? I don't feel any more satisfied after watching a movie on Blu-ray. If the movie sucks it sucks... if it's good it is good. The quality of the picture I'm looking at and the sound I'm hearing doesn't change the content of the movie.
If I am watching an action movie on a big screen as opposed to a small screen that makes a big difference to my enjoyment of a movie.
It's all about the size, not the quality of the picture.

Will it make the movies better?

Umm... that is completely different. That is Green Day just trying to make more money off their terrible music.

Now that would be awesome!
I don't see how anyone could justify that expense for headphones. It's moronic.
I prefer the uncompressed FLAC or CD because it's as close to live as one can get.
That is the biggest load of crap ever. Do you go to gigs in a sound proof building with only you there listening?
Are you the type of person that buys majorly overpriced cables for their sound system?
Some music can sound better in a compressed format. It is all a matter of taste and what sounds good to you.
If you want your music to sound as close to live as possible you just need to add in people yelling and clapping, and girls screaming.

What does Vista offer over XP?
Or you could check out Chemical Calisthenics by Blackalicious.

Who actually cares if it is a good standard? Is it any better than the current standard? Why do we need another standard of the same shit?
