Anyway, this is a really complex and vague science (is that possible?????) Even if they get the membrane right, there's no guarantee that life will just start. Even the chemical reactions that are necessary to run the simplest bacteria are quite complex. Now, lets just say we do get it working. Will it reproduce? Highly unlikely, without any of the necessary enzymes, reproduction in the created organism will be nearly impossible.
