I use Shaw, have the "Extreme" 10mbps package, and get a pretty consistent 10mbps. The powerboost maxes out the capacity of their cable modems (25mbps) for 5-20 seconds and drops you back to your prescribed speed. In BC you can buy Shaw Nitro which puts you at 25mbps all the time. What Comcast is doing sounds more like selling the service at 10mbps, throttling their customers to 1.5 for every day browsing, and using this same PowerBoost when they run bandwidth tests. Which, ultimately, is fraud imho.

I'm not a hardcore gamer by any stretch, the most recent system I own is N64 - and I don't have windows on any computer in my house so my computer gaming options are somewhat limited. I still can't find a new Wii anywhere, and it is a device that I covet. Send 'em to Canada, my group of non-hardcore-gamers (read: Stoner musicians) will be happy to fork over the money not only to have one each, but also to put one in our jam space.
But this would be a fourth type of diabetes. The three regular types would be juvenile, adult onset and the lesser mentioned gestational diabetes which occurs in approximately 1 in 20 pregnancies. Plus, according to wikipedia, there are several more rare types of diabetes.
