Yay!
M$ doesn't need to vouch for Linux. Infact, I'm glad they don't.
Our skills are highly valued, and people will keep on using Linux. Linux will keep on growing, but with the right kind of people. Not because of buzzwords. Or M$ approval.
For every couple of M$ jobs that gets filled, more Linux jobs will open: And I'm expensive.:)
Does slackware even have FF3 yet? I don't think you'll have much luck other than relying on external binaries someone other than the slackware maintainers create.
Slackware likes being ancient. They still use LILO by default...
Other than having some subversion, and maybe weekly meetings, I suggest that small teams should go as they go, and adding more procedure will only make things go slower.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not attacking Debian at all. I'm saying that the poster I replied to is infact wrong by saying 'any other distro' in this case as the bug is caused by a Developer who changed the package so it conforms to the guidelines, and made a mistake.

Not "Or any other distro" in this case, this is a 'debian way' result.
Now if only they'd lose GTK and go with QT4. ;)
