Why do cops get so out of line sometimes? Because people are snobby and do whatever they can to obstruct justice. It's a shame because some people have to go and ruin it for everyone. If society wasn't always so blatantly dishonest, you wouldn't have to have you receipts checked in the first place.
To me it sounds like reasonable cause that someone is stealing because they refuse to provide a receipt and identification. I see ZERO reason to refuse a receipt check. No one has ever accused me of stealing, and the LP person has always given me a big smile and wished me a nice day. Bash them and call them greasy teens, losers, uneducated, whatever, but f you you snobs. They are trying to do their job and don't need people like you to make their lives any harder than they already are just because "of principle". I'm not an LP but I'd like to be one and watch one of you "defend yourself", I'd drop you like a bag of dirt.
