Exactly let the kids be kids just be sure to expose them to lots of different things. My youngest has proudly stated that he loves everything that is pink and purple because those are the best colors in the whole wide world. Then he will play monster trucks and run over his hot wheels cars with his monster trucks. The last time we were at the Lego store he insisted that he get an entire cup of pink and purple Legos instead of like his older brother who wanted the more interesting pieces from the wall of parts. Both of them do like playing kitchen even if all of those toys are done with lots of pinks and purples and the oldest one when he went into kindergarten would often play house with the girls in his class but he was the cook.
What I don't understand is why would someone want to use a log consolidator to do performance monitoring unless that is the only tool they own/know. Just use a real monitoring tool instead, you know something like Nagios or Zabbix. It is the old problem when the only tool you have is a hammer everything looks like a nail.
Yes it should, they should also teach ice driving up here in the frozen tundra of Minnesota but they don't. There are often teen driving clinics put on for free that in in coordination with SCCA licensed driver instructors, some insurance companies, and sometimes car makers that will provide that type of training. As a side benefit they often will get a discount on insurance once they have successfully completed one. I still get stuff about them from the SCCA and have handed it off to relatives who have children who are beginning to drive. As far as driving on ice I was taught my my dad on a frozen lake which is best because there is nothing to hit and I plan on doing the same with my children.
I like that both a local book shop, and the coffeehouse nearest my house, have bitcoin kiosks.
I like that none of the shops I frequent don't have them.
How does it impact what banks are doing that the little book store and coffee shop near your house have a bitcoin kiosk? There is a shop near by where I work that will gladly barter with me over various other things I can bring in for trade or sale, big deal. There is a casino nearby too that now has slot machines that will dispense and accept tickets but no one cares other than the slot players who no longer have to lug around 50 lbs of nickles.
The damn DMV the one place that I go that still only takes cash or checks. I use 2 checks a year when dealing with them (vehicle registration) and then an additional one every 4 years when I renew my license. I figure I will go through the last batch of 200 checks I got sometime around when I die.
now, here in thailand, cash goes for everything. you can buy / sell an apartment with cash. everything is cash cash cash cash.
Sounds similar to the Marshal Islands. A relative of mine worked and lived there for several years and when first moved there went with a sail boat. When she left she sold here boat (a 50 footer) and was paid in the traditional way for a boat, a few grocery bags full of US $20 bills. This was common enough that the teller at the bank stated "Looks like you sold your boat" when she went to deposit the money.
The driver education in the US sucks. When I went through it I was very put out by the poor quality. The road training was in the parking lot of the high school and we went at idle speeds around cones and we were suppose to brake around corners so we wouldn't lose control. I got yelled at all the time to slow down in corners. The sad part was I had already been driving for 8 years (started out at the farm) and had been doing solo road races for 4 year in much higher performance vehicle (my father's 1970 corvette) on a much more challenging course that the one in the high school parking lot with a Pontiac Grand Am. The SCCA driving courses I had to take were much more substantial and they weren't forgiving in letting stuff slide.
I thought they were just terrible at parking. Never park near someone who has a license plate from department 75 if you value your bumpers and fenders. If there isn't a space big enough they will make a space big enough.
I shudder to think what would happen if US drivers were let loose on roads such as the Autobahn in their cars, with their proficiency, and their respect for the rules of the road - it'd make some great TV:)
There is a difference between extracurricular sports and standard PE class in high school. I would love it if after school sports were separated, let the kids who want to play sports do so at full cost through some private organization instead of being subsidized by the tax payer.
And now I am reminded of this George Carlin quote:
And I distinguish between maniacs and crazy people. A maniac will beat nine people to death with a steel dildo. A crazy person will beat nine people to death with a steel dildo, but he'll be wearing a Bugs Bunny suit at the time.
I might have to watch it then even if I haven't been a big fan of some Jackie Chan movies I have seen, although all the ones I have seen have had Chris Tucker in them and I can't stand him as I just find him annoying so that my have been the problem.

Cash sitting in a bank account that earns less interest than the rate of inflation doesn't generate more wealth by itself.
Unfortunately it is taxed as if it does.
But was it discovered by a suburban housewife and the authorities don't want you to know it?
Would that be comparing your times with current ones a question of Apples to Macs?
I'm thinking the single ply 80 grit they have at gas stations.

How much time do you spend thinking about the ants in your front yard?
Only when I find they have made a giant ant hill. Then I go buy some ant poison and the kids get to stay off the lawn for a few days.

Well now I will have to put some more things in my Netflix queue.
Why would you want to watch cats fuck?

There are often minimum speed limits when on US highways.

I give you Death Race 2000
Sounds like your government has finally joined the ranks of other proper 1st world governments like that of my country's.

Rugby the sport of commoners who's fans behave like nobles
Football (US soccer) the sport of nobles who's fans behave like commoners.
Yes the British martial art of purring.
And I distinguish between maniacs and crazy people. A maniac will beat nine people to death with a steel dildo. A crazy person will beat nine people to death with a steel dildo, but he'll be wearing a Bugs Bunny suit at the time.
But I don't want more rap music.
The founding fathers were wrong when they thought their descendents wouldn't turn into absolute morons within three centuries.
Yes they were. They thought it would only take about 20.
