I use Speakeasy too (can't recommend them highly enough) and you should know that they'll update your rDNS entries for your IP(s). They do it pretty quickly too.

Yes, they forgot. The TTL for their A records in 24 hours. You'd think they could have set it to something nice like 10 minutes for the last couple of days.
Sure, some more DNS traffic, but big deal... better to have everyone able to hit the site.

That's not true. There's a total eclipse in December.
Perhaps you mean in the US? Also not true, as one will hit Hawaii in Oct 2004.
Crimping your own ends on the cables will save a lot of money and is not too hard.
Agreed - crimping isn't hard, but make sure you've got a pair tester (or plug up each connection after crimping) to make sure you crimped well.
Been burned by crappy crimping too many times at work.
