So not only would neutrinos travel faster than light in a fiber (as they go pretty close to c for sure), but they could also just so straight there through the Earth

I was thinking about this but if I understand correctly, neutrinos are "filtered out" as they pass through greater amounts of solid material, so to ensure a signal would go through a great deal of solid material (like the whole planet) it would take a great deal of energy on the emitter side.

I have little more than high-school physics knowledge so I don't know if the amount of energy required alone would make it impractical. But I do know that instruments used to detect neutrinos from the sun are placed underground to reduce the number of neutrinos hitting them.

True an industry definitely exists, but at the moment it's a tiny cottage industry compared to the military-industrial complex or the fossil fuel companies, not an equally powerful group as the denialist crowd thinks. Maybe some day the renewable energy industry will be the same size - which wouldn't make the denialists' points any more valid, but they would have less of their facts wrong.

Why do they always measure volts but not amps? A police taser can be as much as 100KV. An average person in a dry climate could build up 40KV without trying too hard. 40kv at low enough amperages can be 100% safe for human contact.

40KV doesn't tell me shit other than that his sparks were jumping close to half an inch.

Now it's obvious that the amperages involved here were pretty high since he was burning and melting things. How safe is this situation for the human body?

I'm much better qualified than you, but because of poor job opportunities in my area and total lack of "networking" I'll probably never make your salary at any point in my career as long as I'm working for someone else.

If I want to become first-world-wealthy I'll have to make myself rich, no bullshit, no "networking," no trust fund, just mad skillz.
