  1. i'm offline, where's LEGO? on Hoberman Sphere Building Blocks · · Score: 1

in my childhood i used to play alot with LEGO and had full shelves of LEGO in my room. i didnt know till now there's something newer than LEGO, i saw one of those balls long ago, but i didnt know that they are ajustable and buildable and you can design new shapes with them. anyways, after browsing a little their website, i find the folding thing cool, but still LEGO will be my favorite toy, with all the pumps, motors, wheels, heh, LEGO rocks, but it's refreshing to see things like those Hoberman construction toys.

  2. Re:Closing in on 2.4? on Linux 2.3.40 released · · Score: 1

before closing on 2.4, lets first release 2.3 as stable, and then rock. i'm still using 2.2.13 that came with slackware. it takes kinda long to compile a kernel on my machine which is a P133, so i dont get to try all kernels, just the stable ones.

high prices, expensive support, hard to use, all those things become small near the real reason of purchasing Netware to be your server - Security. MS is known to have security flaws in their programs, notablly their OS's windows 95 and 98. IMO, i would prefer Netware, and to gurantee that i have a working perfectly network, and not to be in doubt with microsoft products, which i said before are weak when it comes to security. besides, also if it's hard to use, i dont go pissed off that i can't ride a Rols Roys, wake up the next day and drive a bug.

  4. feedbacking bugs on Microsoft Vows Security Commitment on Win2K · · Score: 2

personnally i think that their 24/7 'bug line' wont really help as i know it. personnally i dont use windows 2000, and usually 70% of the people using it will be people that if you'll say bug near them they'll say "huh?!", and if it comes to submiting bugs, also if they've found a bug, and they know what is it, i doubt if they'll ever submit it. it's not the same with linux, when people are programmers and are aware of bugs and submit them as fast as they can. therefore, they're 'bug line' efficiency is in doubt.
