I would hope this technology would be used in a positive way as in an environmentally friendly energy source...LINK But it's more likely the military is salivating at the STAR WARS possibilities as mentioned above. An anti-missile defense would be beneficial...or we could make a HULK-SHARK, big, green, and a head full of lasers.
