Count me as one affected. They've been great about notifying us and posting about it though. Thankfully my site is just one I run for fun, and not a business site. Sheesh.

Yep, my building has an exclusive contract with them. I have no other choice. Wish I did. They suck.

What?!? They're features I look for so I commented on them. I work for a small company that does auto show and trade show exhibits and we're an IBM shop, NOT a MS shop. I don't know why I even try to comment here. You're all a bunch of assholes.

I just retired my old 4GB iPod mini for a 30GB Zune and I find I really like it. Bottom line is I bought it on the recommendation of two friends who'd recently bought them and because it was cheap. I find I like the controls better on the Zune. The click wheel on my iPod always pissed me off. I have pretty bad arthritis in my hands and for some reason I could never get that thing to work quite right. Not sure if it was the issues I have with my hands or my particular iPod, but it always seemed to be more trouble than it was worth.

The software installation was a pain but now that I have it set up I find it's quite easy to use. Haven't checked out the marketplace, but I prefer to buy CD's and then rip them anyway. The sync hasn't been a problem, the audio and video playback has been as expected (love the size of the screen), and for the money I'm quite happy with it.

Wow, I'm totally going to get flamed for admitting this, aren't I? I'm not a big fan of MS, but I'm very happy with the player. It works for me.

My biggest problem with it is that those who broke in didn't strip things like ssn's and other information about the worker bees before they posted it to the net. I'm not unhappy that MediaDefender's business practices have been revealed for what they are though I will say I disagree strongly with the method used to do it. Those posting this stuff have enabled the potential identity theft and harassment of those who have jobs with a company that has shady business practices. Everyone needs to eat, and not all of those employees likely agree with the practices. That's a low blow, and is in some ways no better than the company they're campaigning against.
