  1. lethal battery? I think not. on Exploding Cell Phone Battery Kills · · Score: 1

ok lets start here. "The man, identified only by his family name Suh, was found dead at his workplace in a quarry" A quarry you say. Like where theres lots of heavy and dangerous earth moving equipment. Probably loose rocks as well. And b) if you where to place a stick of dynamite on a table and detonate it. It would blow upwards not down. you would have to have something hard on top of it in order for it to exert enough force to push down through the table. now apply that same principal to a cell battery. and since when did cell phone battery's have enough material in them to create a lethal explosion? If there that lethal why don't more battery powered objects explode killing the operator? the CIA should start looking into having agents use there cell phone battery's as IED's in emergences. I think its more likely that he either fell from some where and the landing killed him and pressure from hitting the ground or object caused the phone "exploded" (I mean go Puff with a bit of electrical smoke.) or he was killed my a person. Unlikely but possible.

Sometimes you need to accept that a few bucks saved don't matter when its costs you a fortune in lost sales. But thats not the only thing at stake right now. the reason there dropping prices is due to the increased popularity of the 360. They have to cut prices to be able to keep them selves in contention with MS I think that the Price cut due to the removel of BC is there desprate attemt at saving there slowly sinking ship. So its more of self preservation then merely savings a few bucks because of being greedy.

This is the same old thing just a different name.
Every single OS was a terror to use when it first came out.
(Examples Windows 98 was junk till SE, Me was junk and was replaced by 2000, XP was junk till SP2)
This is just like all the rest.
As a Dell Reseller, We told Dell that we would look else where if they didn't Offer Xp Pro on there Business class systems.
With in a week they switched back to XP.
Installing vista on a business machine would be like installing "Longhorn" ( now known as Server 2003 )when everyone else was using Server 2000. Its just not Smart. (From a business perspective)

As an IT Tech. The newest OS is only for games and those on the bleeding edge of technology.
The Business world always stays one step behind. Its safer there.
