  1. I think this is a no-brainer on Internet Service Tax Moritorium Set To Expire · · Score: 1

The Internet works because it is substantially free of regulation/taxation. As with anything, as government encroaches, freedom diminishes. A move in this direction is a move against the free exchange of thoughts and ideas and a move counter to the principles of capitalism and the free marketplace.

  2. The moral of the story on Convicted VoIP Hacker Robert Moore Speaks · · Score: 1

This should be a loud message to all IT professionals and laymen alike: SET/CHANGE YOUR PASSWORDS!

  3. U.S. Congress trying to undo what it never did on US Senate Fails To Reinstate Habeas Corpus · · Score: 1

The right of Habeas Corpus is a right that is protected by the many constitutions. Congress has no power to alter the constitution so congress couldn't have (and thus, technically didn't) remove the right of habeas corpus. What people should be debating about is why everyone is happy to pretend that congress has the right to vote on such things??? Why has America become so ignorant of their own legal history and tradition!?!?!? Madening.

  4. Will the U.S. make it BACK to the moon? on Will China Beat the United States Back to the Moon? · · Score: 1

The question should be: has the U.S. (or ANY HUMAN for that matter) EVER been to the moon? If so, how did we overcome the issue with the Van Allen radiation belts?
