When I was in your 14 to 25 age group, (Admittedly a long time ago.) violent video games probably saved a few lives.
Without the release of playing a game and blowing a few things up after school I have little doubt I would have snapped and tried to go on a killing rampage.
Prove me wrong.
Prove that there is other intelligent life in the universe, that came along before we did.
Until someone proves that. It is possible, however unlikely, that we could be the first.
I am not saying that we ARE the first. (In fact I doubt it.) I just like to believe that all things are possible.
I also read a theory that the window for detecting a technological civilization from it's RF emissions is quite small.
As I recall the idea went something like this. In the early days of radio, the signals are too weak to be detected from any significant distance. For the first 50 years or so, most radio advances occurred in increasing signal strength, after that point signal strength begins to drop, and receiver sensitivity increases. Again as I recall the window for detecting a technological civilization from it's RF emissions is somewhere between 25 and 40 years. (Based on a sample of one.)
Exactly. This person should switch to SSD, and plug in a cheep as shit USB 1TB drive. More storage than he has now, plus the speed of an SSD. I will be doing exactly this as soon as SSD's hit that magical $0.50 a Gig mark in Canada.
I was expecting Microsoft to bring out an OfficeBox, quite some time ago.
Basically an xBox 360 minus the 3D graphics. With a really tiny hard drive, Office and Active Directory integration. Keyboard and mouse instead of a controller.
The little musicians in my radio suck lately. They have lost all talent and play the same crap over and over and over...
I suggest this 3 part plan:
1. Buy a new radio.
2. Drop old radio into a lake or river while the new radio watches.
3. Explain to the new radio that if it's musicians lose all talent and play the same crap over and over the same thing will happen to it.
Congratulations BlackSnake112, you can do simple math.:) redJag however appears to prove my original point.
Just kidding redJag, it is worse than you thought. I was that cynical at 15 years old.
Am I the only one who read that with a Dr. Evil voice?
No, I grew up. Then I learned that being bullied ends.
Kerio Connect rocks.

In my experience Exchange is not the solution to anything.

Someone had to be first.

Also keep in mind that no matter how they deal with the issue someone will still bitch, moan whine and complain about how they handled it. :)
You know what they say, "Once you go black, you never go back".
I still want to know who "they" are.
For someone who claims to be uninterested in the iPhone you sure commented on this story in a hurry.
Me thinks he doth protest too much.
Fix it before you ship it.
That sounds painful.
Also: Less than 61% of all Americans have balls.
Also the first tank serial # should not be 1.
Try something like 24370239.
If I created a botnet, then used it to force all the computers to run Folding@Home. Would I still be evil?

Never put anything on Facebook that you would not tell your parents and your boss.
No one expects the Spanish Inquisition. Sorry I meant to type, No one expects to be outsourced to India.

I still think it would be a winner.
Then everyone is an idiot. Firewire rocks. Firewire + Target Disk Mode = killer app.

Apple tends to buy things that will make them money. I really doubt Facebook would ever make any money for Apple. (Or anyone for that matter.)
My only question is: Was Bush sounding out the words in "The Pet Goat"?
Unfortunately the true meaning of life on the web is H3rb4l V14gr4 4 Ch33p.
