1. Reseller sells software to customer 2. Reseller places order with distributer 3. Distributer authorized purchase and facilitates licence 4. Licence agreement is mailed or emailed directly to end user.
So you see there is no physical product involved, and hence, no back seet of a car in an alley. Now how would there be a problem with someone in the chain not being legit..
I mean if a company sells and bills a customer for a licence but they never recieve DIRECT notification from MS than its their fault for being stupid and dealing with shady people.
The Phone Companies are letting the government use their equipment to spy on Americans. In Return they mega corporations will get support from certain members of congress and the executive for supposed "Pro Business" regulations. These "regulations" will cement these corporations and give them government supported monopolies and allow the Telecoms to govern and regulate themselves.
