Here is a way to get out of your Verizon contract without fees and get your hands on a new iphone. Basically because Verizon is raising the cost of text messaging from $0.10 to $0.20 you can claim financial hardship and get out of your contract. Keep in mind that this only works if you do not currently subscribe to a text messaging plan and pay individually for each message. Also you have to opt-out by March 1st 2008. This can be done in about an hour, you may have to go through two or three customer dis-service agents, but it works.

Here are some facts.
1. Bands make the vast majority of their money from concert sales.
2. Nowadays I only hear about new music from mp3's that my friends and I exchange. The radio and mtv/vh1 are useless.
3. I have gone to see many of these bands live. In these cases the bands, NOT the record company made money.
4. Record companies are parasites that market music to 15 year old girls and try and tell you what is worth listening to. Payola scams continue to this day.
5. We live in an exciting time where the internet really is bringing these companies down.
So lets all steal music, and go see our favorite bands, buy a t-shirt if you really like them.
I have noticed since Jaguar that when ever mac comes out with a major update to a new cat, the update that they send out to the previous OS is buggy as hell, and usually makes you buy the new feline update. The best thing to do is stop updating within a six months of any major update.
