You can NEVER waive or lose your inalienable rights. They are inalienable.
The fact that the government does strip them away is ridiculous. The fact that the government allows it to happen between private parties is equally ridiculous.
The government is charged with protecting the rights of the people. I don't know who convinced you that the Constitution is just boundaries for the government (to ignore) - the Constitution is documentation of what the government is and what it must and must not do.
It sickens me that people can read the Constitution and not comprehend the simple language it contains.
"For example, the constitution does not give you the right to exercise free speech on private property, or carry a gun on private property; despite prohibitions against government infringement on those rights."
Yes it does. Yes it does.
The fact that the courts have interpreted it incorrectly does not change what is factually correct or what is written.
Inalienable rights are inalienable. No one can rightfully prevent me from going anywhere I want in this country with any weapon I want, nor can they prevent me from going to your house and calling you a fucking moron.
I am, of course, responsible for any demonstrable, direct consequences of my actions. If I'm violating a noise ordinance or public nuisance law, if I'm trespassing, etc., I expect to be punished.
If I carry an assault rifle and shoot up a mall of people, and somehow live out my 5 life sentences, no one can prevent me from carrying an assault rifle to a mall when I get out of prison.
If you dislike seeing the pixels on the larger screen, but did not dislike seeing them on the smaller screen, then you need to get your eyes checked.
The pixels have always been visible.
If they ever bother you on any DS, hold the DS further away, or wait for your eyes to deteriorate to the point of not being able to distinguish the image. Then buy the model with larger screens.
Laptops are expected to be able to do the SAME thing as your desktop though(with the exception of high end current games), in portable form. Take the same tech and shrink it, it will cost more.
Handhelds are expected to be able to do the SAME thing as your console though(with the exception of high end current games), in portable form. Take the same tech and shrink it, it will cost more.
Assigning arbitrary dates to mark an amorphous event?
Why was this the "birthday" and not when two machines were first connected to eachother?
Why not when a printer was attached to a computer?
Why not when two people talked over the phone? Shit - you know this was done over the phone. "Okay, start typing!" "L" "Got it." "O" "GOT IT!" "G" "..." "G?" "FUCK! God dammit Bill you fucking moron FIX THIS SHIT."
It's nice to mark significant points and transitions, but with an amorphous, ill-defined thing like the internet, it's akin to saying your restaurant has the best burgers in town.
The end result, of course, is a non-news fluff story and my raging post, which will be modded as "Troll" even though I have completely valid points.
No. Contracts require signatures and are not implicit upon purchase of goods and services.
Seems to me I don't have to provide any signature to purchase airline tickets.
Minors cannot legally enter into contracts.
Etc etc.
There is no excusing this bullshit, and no amount of legal rhetoric can change the fundamental fact that INALIENABLE RIGHTS are being violated. These rights are supposed to be IMPOSSIBLE to waive - they are inalienable, and it is the government's DUTY to PROTECT them.
Well, if you purchase and use an airline ticket you have agreed to comply with the security procedures; so the whole "unreasonable search" argument is moot.
No I haven't.
None of which, independent of your agreeing to be searched , makes the security procedure an constitutional violation of the "unreasonable search" provision.
It is unreasonable because it is invasive and quite literally has no reason. What is the alleged reason for it? Security? Security has not been improved at all by the increased bullshit we have to put up with.
I don't voluntarily agree do anything. It is unreasonable because it costs the tax payer untold amounts of money, wastes untold amounts of time, is an invasion of privacy, and it is all completely ineffectual.
It doesn't. It requires the federal government to not enact laws the prevent people from freely moving about internationally, within the country, or within their own state.
NES - 1 out of 2 (2 main...)
SNES - 1 out of 2 (2 main...)
N64 - 2 out of 3
GC - Tied for 2 out of 4
Wii - 1 out of 3, by a fucking mile.
You are 100% wrong.
You can NEVER waive or lose your inalienable rights. They are inalienable.

Freedom something security something deserve neither something something.
If that scares you, this is the wrong country for you. Or it at least it's supposed to be.
Wow, many people thought I was serious.
It was a joke.
I, too, know people who believe you have to do that.
Shortage of stock?
It was MS who botched the 360 launch.
In fact, stock was so low that 2 months later they had a second "launch".
Everything else you said is just stupid.
Look at sales.
Nintendo dominated this generation, and it was clear that they "won" within 6 months of the Wii's launch.

It was a laff at the other guy's post.
Look at the parenthetical immediately following.
It was a joke.
I know people who actually do it, and it's ridiculous.

The DSi has (slightly) larger screens than the DS and DS Lite. It is in fact noticeable enough of a difference that I prefer the DSi for this reason.
Not necessarily.
The XBOX and GameCube were neck-and-neck worldwide.
Depending on how he defines the top two, it could be either of them.

Nintendo might not win the console wars
Perhaps the most ill-informed thing I've read today.
Nintendo won the console wars years ago.
It took nearly 2 full years for Wii stock to meet demand.
The Wii is tracking ahead of the PS2 in terms of sales, despite the global recession and the high failure rate of early PS2 models.

I would swap the positions of 3 and 4.

No - Einstein never killed a bitch.
Joan was quizzical - studied pataphycial science in the home. Late nights all alone with a test tube, oh, oh oh, oh.
Maxwell Edison (majoring in medicine) calls her on the phone.
"Can I take you out to the pictures, Jo-o-o-oan?"
But as she's getting ready to go, a knock comes on the door.
Bang bang Maxwell's silver hammer came down upon her head.
Bang bang Maxwell's silver hammer made sure that she was dead.
So the $500 high-energy gamma-output cables I bought actually DON'T improve my ping?
FUCK YOU MONSTER CABLE!
Its also plausible that they left 2.2 seconds apart, and arrived 0.9 seconds apart in the opposite order. How do we tell though?

We have commercially viable fusion reactors now, yet the "news" is that it involves coconuts?
In what will be the first fusion power facility that's commercially viable...
Oh. I see. 3-5 years out then, just like LHC, battery breakthroughs, etc.
If NIC's create a stability problem for you, you already had a stability problem to begin with...
Government is wrong.
Constitution is right.
Funny thing - that's the way it always is.
