  1. Don't land in Arizona on Churchill Accused of Sealing UFO Files, Fearing Public Panic · · Score: 1

hey you space aliens, don't land in Arizona or you'll be in big trouble! another question: how come you all are racist pigs? only ones that can qualify for your astronaut corps are those who are little, green, and men.

I'd prefer them to be abolished, federal income and payroll taxes would allow employers to hire more employees and or pay them more.

yeah right.... those at top had lotsa tax cuts and they accelerated offshoring. Meanwhile they want to continue wars in middle east. Hello... guess what funds the military? Taxes! So pay up for what you started.

So hold them accountable, just don't shut down trade.

OK, but they own the police (SEC) so what are us commoners gonna do?

    > SRB's size was determined by the width or a horse's rear-end. I talked to someone that worked at Thiokol (now ATK) for eight years. He said diameter was set in the 1950s based on largest size that can be moved by trucks [ with a big trailer ]. I've not taken measurements but those SRBs look a lot thicker than a width of a train tunnel. He also said ATK is also removing the word "Thiokol" from the history.

  5. Participating in Science on NASA's LCROSS Moon Impact Mission Provides Great Data · · Score: 0, Flamebait

Yes it is boring but that's science, not science fiction (ya ever noticed that all space sci-fi shows are either alien space monsters or laser beam battles? Like there's only seven plots to a western.) They probably shouldn't have hyped the huge explosive plume in animations for weeks before impact. However, public was given direct observation of this program in action. OK maybe they didn't feed all the console data direct but they gave realtime visuals. However, realtime astronomy is really boring to those that don't understand it. Gathering at Ames Research Center grass area of Shenandoah Plaza was interesting. How often can someone camp out at a federal facility?

  6. a scary thing of manipulating URL? on Massive Phishing Campaign Hits Multiple Email Services · · Score: 1

I get these phishy emails all the time but I look at the actual URL and see it is not actually coming from the service or agency. One time I saw it vectored to a site which I did a whois lookup of the domain name and it listed the name, address, and phone number of someone in southern Calif (not China). However, the scary thing is what happens if these people figure a way to "scoop" or "fraud" (whatever) the URL displayed on bottom of my browser window and in the address bar? But on identity theft they say most of it was done with basic skills like going through someone's trash or bank employees (72% of banks report employees committed fraud).
