Thank you. I didn't know such a device existed. The cost is about equal to that of a nice case and a wi-fi card, so the $170 price tag is about what could be expected.

Let me be blunt, unless I get a working Wi-Fi card for my T2, that T2 will be my last Palm device.

I'm really pissed that my only option for wireless turned out to be buying a more expensive Palm, or bluetooth.

You ever try to set up a ZOOM bluetooth device on your PC so you could sync and surf on your Palm?

I returned the damn Zoom product. The configuration wasn't even documented, and they didn't even have drivers on their website, so when I took the device to work, I had to wait until the next day to set it up, since I'd forgotten their damn CD at home.

Why do you think modern Polyamory was invented? At least that way the shagging goes both ways, it's out in the open, and both partners can have their reliable, stable, "Primary", "Dad Type" and their secondary or tertiary "Cad Type".

Besides, that way you get to work out all of the toxic emotions instead of repressing then and letting them build up.

In my mind, it's the only way to have multiple partners and a spouse. Cheating and infidelity is so 19th century.

As a sie note, my wife and I are monogamous, but most our friends are Poly. I'm speaking from what I've seen, not what I've lived.

I agree. I'm clearly a "Marry Him" type, and it's depressing to get dumped by a woman who admits it's because I treat her with respect and, I quote, "I'm used to guys treating me like shit. I can't handle a guy who cares what I think and tries to have conversations."

Fortunately for me, I eventually found a woman whom I love dearly, and actually LIKES having me as a husband, instead of "settling" for me.

Of course, this was after I'd learned how to embody "Cad" and "Dad" aspects. Being a "reformed Cad" in the eyes of women has a surprising appeal. Watch "The Tao of Steve" for details.

On the flip side, one of my best friends is a woman who was married to a "Dad" and hit her mid life crisis. Now she's with a "Cad" and can't understand why things keep being problematic. On a side note, I never got involved with said friend because:

    A. By the time I met her, I'd learned to avoid women who were either husband hunting or into a "Cad" phase.
    B. I was a "Dad" and she keeps going after "Cads."

    *Sigh*

    I agree with you.

OpenOffice is frequently used at my last job, because I showed people how to use it to open Word and Excel files that Office couldn't. I also found that some graphics intensive Word Files eat up a lot more RAM in Office than in OpenOffice. We received a series of documents from a client. The client has pushed their 3GHz machines with 2 Gig of RAM to the limit creating the file, and we could NOT work with the resulting files in Word.

Then I opened the files in OpenOffice and Abiword, both of which were able to let us work with the files and do what we needed to do.

The formatting wasn't that complex, the issue was all the graphics used in the documents.

Word crapped out, and took 45 minutes to copy segments of text to the clipboard.

The other apps let us use the files easily, and made it possible to copy and paste text out of them. (The people who needed the files were loading the content into an Online Learning system.)

Abiword and OpenOffice are now standard installs for people in the content department, as well as on a couple machines in the Sales department. Not even Office XP's restore and recovery functions work as well.

Penguin is very happy about all this fuss. The book is getting free publicity, and the longer this goes on, the more sales of this book will be helped, while doing no real damage to the rest of the company.

They may buy the domain down the road, but they're more likely to file a lawsuit to take it, counting on this poor woman not having the cash to stand up to them in court.

As fun as it is to joke about it, I assume Penguin would sue her into oblivion if she were to sell the domain to a porn company, and would tear her to shreds and demonize her in the courtroom.
