Doesn't a local radio station pay for the music they have / play on radio ? If that's the case then the songs and music is ALLREADY PAYED and i don't see any reason why someone must pay for listening to it. It is payed allready i don't see why people should pay three times.

Yes here in slovenia we have a levy on everything (no exceptions). This includes: CD-R,DVD-R,iPOD,Hard Disk, VCR, GSM, GPS (because they can play mp3's), PC's (because they have disk in it), Mac's (because they have disk in it), Printers (because you could have printed some copyrighted lyrics), Photo scanners, fax machines, wrist watches (with disk in it), cameras, photo only cameras, flash cards, USB sticks, routers, Wii, Consoles.. etc etc.. because you just might copy an mp3 on an Canon EOS flash card.
I think this is just abuse of money.. why should i pay "SAZAS" (slovenian RIAA) money for a GPS receiver because it "can" play mp3's ? or why should i pay some tax on a DVD-R because i might copy a copyrighted content on it ? or perhaps copy whole album of mp3's to Canon EOS 40D flash card ? If i pay for this kind of shit i expect something in return - i then have all the rights to copy anything because i payed for it... so it kinda legalizes the right to copy anything and put it on the net.. or private use.
As i said already youtube will erase anything and everything that they get a complain on.
A 13 old boy can mail them that this and this video is copyright protected and they'll erase it.
So now my question remains:
- Why are people still using youtube ?
People should know that youtube will erase theirs video one way or another so why waste time and try to upload an video when all your hard work is lost?
People should stop using boring youtube and move to another more respected video site.. this way youtube will loose it's users and video content.
This will be the best punishment for youtube and they'll have to learn it the hard way that they don't have the right to delete a video just because someone doesn't like or want it.

I've also seen some people who filmed their own house and got removed from youtube.. why ? i don't know.. maybe because youtube just erases all the videos that some users are bitching about (maybe his house was too beautiful and someone send a DMCA compaint that that video is copyrighted).
SO FORGET YOUTUBE and move to another side that's more fair and doesn't erase everything.

Well i have a active desktop icon on my weather station page so a user can add my weather station to his/hers desktop and view live data that refreshes every 5 minutes..
If distributors could invisibly/digitally watermark the video that gets legally downloaded with a user-id/serial number-that could make people think twice about distributing the video freely to others/thereby potentially eliminating the need for DRM. The video would be traceable to the original consumer. I guess it's possible a video file could be 'leaked' accidentally and it could cause a lot of trouble for the consumer/distributor. My guess is that anyone who is willing to pay for a download would likely NOT participate in redistributing the file - but I'm too naive and too much of an optimist at times maybe!
Not really.. someone could stole your audio / video from PC or. DVD/CD Disks and then put it on internet.. same applies with wi-fi if it's open network.

Well why do then they sell DVDs and CDs ? What they should do is lock all DVDs and CDs away in a bank safe so no one can watch, copy, lend them.. then RIAA, MPAA can rest and be sure that no one sees it nor copies it (any film or music or whatever)..:)
I don't see how is that illegal when i am sitting in my room and if i turn on my notebook.. i am instantly connected to internet via neighbours wi-fi AP.. If he broadcasts the signal to my room and it's unencrypted signal my notebook automatically connects to it so i think that this is not stealing/illegal because it's an open network anyway.

I think this is very bad idea since all the clocks will be inaccuare within 1 hour in next 600 years.. Inaccuracy will rise and rise..
