Remember, TUCOWS deals with Windows Shareware mostly. They *HAVE* to overrate/overhype these packages in order to get people to download them and pay the various shareware fees. CNET and the various other windows archive sites do pretty much the same thing. Maybe the people in charge of the linux software archive will look around at the rest of the linux archives and notice that this kind of thing really isn't done for linux software and will cut back on it as a result.
Their homes will be nice and toasty-warm during the cold winters....as it burns down to the ground around them thanks to mircosoft technology. Want to bet the insurance rates go through the roof on these networked homes?
Crap. If Connectix was giving the emualtor away free you might have a point, but they are trying to make a buck of it and that's a big no-no. Connectix has in fact crossed the line here and deserves to be slapped down for it.

This is true. I doubt very many people are using Wine to run IE for instance, but a lot of people are running Agent and similar software under Wine.
